Smart Locks: access by code – fully automatic

Standard tier: NUKI and Tedee – the list keeps growing. The Plus tier adds the Seam integration platform, opening up hundreds of additional providers such as Yale, Schlage, SALTO, dormakaba or igloohome: nearly every smart lock on the market can connect to apaleo this way.

Seam is not a lock but an integration platform: it bundles hundreds of smart-lock and access-system providers – e.g. Yale, Schlage, SALTO, dormakaba or igloohome – behind a single interface. In LeoFlex, Seam is part of the Plus tier; that leaves you practically free in your hardware choice.

LeoFlex automatically generates an access code with a matching validity window for every apaleo reservation. Your guests get into their room without a key handover – even on late arrivals when the front desk is not staffed. Shared areas such as the main entrance get their own area codes.

Currently, smart locks with PIN codes are supported: LeoFlex generates the access codes automatically from the apaleo reservation. Once mapped to your apaleo rooms, the locks stay permanently in sync – with no further maintenance.

Codes have validity windows matching the reservation – they work exactly from check-in to check-out. On top there are emergency codes for your team and area codes for shared entrances (e.g. main door or garage).

Yes. Besides the per-reservation room codes, LeoFlex supports shared areas: main entrances, floor doors or side doors get their own area codes valid for all entitled guests – ideal for apartment buildings and properties without a permanently staffed front desk.

Straight from apaleo – LeoFlex uses apaleo as the single data source, no double entry. If a reservation changes, the code's validity window adapts automatically.
